Why do I enjoy training and instructing?

“Even after many years of training, I still enjoy the never-ending pursuit of improving myself through Traditional Taekwondo and continuously learning new martial art techniques.  I love teaching people and seeing them realise their full potential.  By teaching martial arts I see students gain a boost in their confidence, self-esteem, fitness and concentration and also develop life-skills such as self-defence.  It is my privilege to be a servant to the students.”

Why do I enjoy training and instructing?

"Training in martial arts gives us a rare opportunity to practically forward the limits of our self- discipline. I am consistently impressed by the usefulness of a will accustomed to the pressure of regular training in the pursuit of self-improvement. Our practice of control in the smallest of tests generates resilience and an ability to make the most of every trial life throws at us. Watching the patient resolve and enthusiasm that our students demonstrate while training makes teaching Taekwondo a joy."
